County library featured in museum exhibition

Crook County’s library system is among those to be featured in a new exhibit opening this weekend at the Tri-State Museum in Belle Fourche.

“The Library” will be an educational exhibit covering libraries from the ancient world to the modern, looking at how they have changed and the challenges they face. It will also look at libraries in the tri-state area.

The exhibit will feature a selection of photos, storyboards, artifacts, a touchscreen quiz, an activity station and an activity table for kids.

The opening reception is free to the public with refreshments served and will take place on Saturday, January 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
