NOTICE OF HEARING
TO VACATE COUNTY ROAD NO. 197,
KNOWN AS THE JENKINS ROAD
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
The Board of County Commissioners of Crook County, Wyoming has resolved in Resolution No. 2024-22 pursuant to Wyoming Statute 24-3-101 et seq. to commence proceedings to vacate County Road No. 197, known as the Jenkins Road as shown on the Map below in this Notice, said road that begins at its intersection with County Road No. 68 known as the D Road then traverses easterly to its end point which lies at the Campbell County line located on and across the following described property, to-wit:
Resurvey Township 55 North, Range 68 West, 6th P.M. Crook County, Wyoming
Section 5: S1/2NW1/4; N1/2SW1/4
Section 6: NE1/4SE1/4; S1/2N1/2
Copies of the petition, maps of the proposed portion to be vacated (shown below), Viewers Report, Resolution No. 2024-22 to proceed and this notice are available upon request from the County Clerk at [email protected]; are located in the Office of the Crook County Clerk in the Courthouse in Sundance, Wyoming or on the County Website at the "Public Notices" tab at http://www.crookcounty.wy.gov
All objections thereto and or claims for damages by reason thereof must be filed in writing with the County Clerk of Crook County at P. O. Box 37 Sundance, WY 82729 on or before noon on February 3, 2024, or the road may be VACATED without reference to such objections or claims for damages on February 5, 2025 at 2:30 P.M.
If there are any objections, this matter shall be set for hearing upon the objection at a later date.
