Continuing the Crook County News Since 1884
The Sundance Community Handbell Choir recently received a generous donation from the Powder River Energy Foundation towards its efforts to entertain and support the community with music.
The choir is a community service organization that plays in care facilities, churches and various community events. If you are interested in joining, training is provided for new bell ringers.
The holidays will see several opportunities to hear the choir, starting with the chili feed in the courthouse community room, which will take place after the parade on December 6.
The choir will also be playing on December 8 at the Chapel of Faith at 10 a.m. and Wyoming Assisted Living on December 10 at 5:30 p.m.
Residents of the long-term care unit at Crook County Memorial Hospital will welcome the choir on December 10 at 6:30 p.m., while the congregation of Sundance United Methodist Church will enjoy the bells on December 15 at 10 a.m.
