The Bearlodge-Sundance FFA Horse Evaluation Team Competed at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana after winning at the state level. The team, consisting of Tessa Sanderson, Avery Marchant, Savanah Peterson and Cienna McGuckin, took twentieth in the nation.
The competition consisted of teams of 48 states. Working together, they took eighth in the nation for the team presentation portion of the competition.
They ended the competition with a silver emblem. The girls also had some personal success.
Savanah Peterson and Tessa Sanderson received a gold emblem. Cienna McGuckin and Avery Marchant received a silver emblem and also scored high enough on the written exam to receive a certification and college credit.
Overall, the national convention was a huge success and an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience. We appreciate everyone who donated to our cause, we couldn't have done it without you!
