Majesta Lee Byrne

Misty was born in Denver, Colorado, to James Newell and Rosemary Haswell. She grew up in Platteville, Colorado, before moving to Sundance, Wyoming, with her dad James and other mother Laura Newell.

She moved back to Colorado for a few years to be closer to her mom and brother, then moved to South Dakota in 2019. Misty worked in different customer services jobs throughout her life and people will always remember her bright smile and caring personality. She was currently working at Highmark Federal Credit Union and loved the career path she was on with the company.

Misty got her love for cars, trucks and motorcycles from her dad. She enjoyed going to car shows, monster truck rallies, demolition derbies and, most of all, the Sturgis rally. She was a Mopar girl through and through and loved her big jacked up Dodge truck.

She loved music passionately and was always down for a concert with any of her family but especially her sister Raysha and brothers Corey and Kyle. Misty loved her family fiercely and enjoyed many adventures with them big or small.
