Joseph Kieth Niemeyer left this earth to be with the Lord on October 5, 2024.
Joseph was born July 29, 1976 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to his parents George Woodrow Niemeyer Jr., and Dianne Lee Niemeyer.
Joseph Is survived by his two daughters, Arianna and Jessica; his grandson, Colter; his mother, Dianne; his brother, Jon; his Grandma, Shirley Cross; his Grandpa, Johnny Apricio; his best friends, Gerald and Jason; seven aunts and uncles; 14 first cousins; and hundreds of friends and coworkers. Every one of these people loved him dearly.
Joseph has worked at the mines in Gillette, Wyoming, for almost 20 years. He was also a Navy veteran who served aboard the USS Independence stationed in Yokosuka, Japan.
Joseph was a dedicated husband, father and friend. He loved his dogs, hunting, fishing and exploring the back roads.
Always kind and helpful, never arrogant and always had a smile on his face when he saw someone he cared about. It was a great smile.
He will be missed.
Due to time constraints on the family, no services have been planned at this time. His remains will be laid to rest with his father in Illinois per his request.
