Amber Nehmer has had her sentence reimposed on a 2019 case in which she was given a suspended sentence for charges related to an incident in which law enforcement was informed she was using and selling drugs while children were present in her home.
Nehmer pled guilty at that time to one felony charge of delivery of a controlled substance and one of child endangerment.
An order revoking her probation came before Judge Michael J. McGrady on August 12.
Nehmer was accused of violating a condition of her probation order that states, “violate no state, local or federal laws”. According to the complaint, she was arrested for petty theft in Meade County, South Dakota and pled guilty on June 25, 2019.
In addition, on January 8, she was arrested for burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary in Crook County. The charge of theft was added on February 21.
This arrest occurred after Nehmer allegedly took money from the safe and cash jar of a local bar after accompanying another person to clean the premises.
Nehmer admitted to a material violation of the terms of her probation.
She was ordered to serve 30 days in the Crook County Detention Center and fulfill five years of supervised probation for each county, to run concurrently.
