Lady Bulldogs play hard at Gillette Invite

The Sundance Lady Bulldogs faced a true test of skill and determination as they traveled to Gillette this past weekend to compete in the Gillette Invite. With a total of six games, the team found themselves up against a variety of opponents, including several larger 4A schools, out-of-state teams, and their ever-familiar 2A competition.

Throughout the tournament, the Sundance team showed their resilience, holding their own in many close sets. Their defense was led by Blakely Gill, who was able to rack up 98 digs throughout the course of the tourney.

Annika Haugen and Jaylin Mills also popped up 62 and 43 digs, from the back row. Jaylin Mills and Haley Karol led the offensive charge, recording 57 and 31 kills each throughout the course of the two-day invite.

Overall, the matches were hard-fought and the Lady Bulldogs continued to demonstrate their ability to compete at a higher level throughout the course of the weekend.

The Lady Bulldogs will be on the road once again this week as they travel to Big Horn to compete in the Big Horn Invite on Friday and Saturday.
