Great golfing

The Sundance golf team was busy on the greens this past week as they competed in Wright and Newcastle. Savannah Peterson continued her exceptional form as the top finisher in both invitationals, chipping in a 90 at each course.

As a team, the Lady Bulldogs finished in first place at Wright, edging out their nearest rivals by only three strokes. At the Newcastle Invite, all Lady Bulldog golfers finished in the top ten. 

The Bulldog boys also had a solid performance last week as Catch Downey set a personal record in Wright, shooting a 95 for the day and finishing in 9th place. Owen Watt was the team's top scorer for the Invite as he shot an impressive 89, and finished in sixth place.

Cash Peterson, Haldon Harmon, Nash Downey and Taigon Barber also helped the team stay competitive as they edged out Newcastle for another second-place team finish. 

As the golfing season begins to wind down, the Bulldog golfers are looking to qualify for the state meet while they compete in the conference championships at Lusk on Friday and Saturday.
