Tough week for Patriots

The Upton-Sundance Patriots kicked off their football season against the Worland Warriors. It was a challenging matchup for the Patriots, who ultimately fell, 36-0, to a strong opponent.

The Warriors struck early with a touchdown in the first quarter. The Patriots fought hard to stay in the game; however, the Warriors scored three more times throughout the second quarter, increasing the score 28-0 going into the break. The Patriots continued to battle throughout the second half, but Warriors would score one more time before the final horn, handing the Patriots a 36-0 loss on the road.

With a bye-week this week, the Patriots will have two weeks to regroup and prepare for their next competition on Friday, September 13, at Newcastle.
