Continuing the Crook County News Since 1884
The Bulldog golf teams continued their impressive season with another standout performance at the Moorcroft Invite, played at the Pine Haven Golf Course, this past week.
The girls' team once again demonstrated their dominance, securing top individual spots and an overall team victory. Leading the charge for the girls, Savanah Peterson took the top honors with an impressive 14 stroke lead.
Her dominant performance, along with strong scores from Karen Ulmer (102), Avery Marchant (104), Madeline Fleenor (105) and Shyla Shoun (119) allowed the team to take the team title by 25 strokes.
On the boys' side, the Bulldog team continued to deliver impressive performances, finishing second overall. Owen Watt anchored the team with a third place finish and an overall score of 81.
Porter Watt wasn't far behind, shooting a 92 for the day and taking 10th place, followed closely by Cash Peterson (95) who took 12th and Catch Downey (102), who finished 19th.
As the short fall season begins to wind down, the Bulldog golfers will compete twice next week as they travel to Wright on Friday and Newcastle on Saturday.
