Bulldogs hit the greens in Glenrock

Back to school brings the Bulldog athletes back to their respective playing fields. The Sundance golf team was the first to open up their season as they hit the greens in Glenrock this past week.

Both the girls’ and boys’ teams had an impressive showing for their first match of the fall season. Senior Savanah Peterson picked up right where she left off last spring, taking first place at the match with an overall score of 88.

Fellow senior, Avery Marchant, also put up an impressive score of 99, enough to secure her a third place finish. Rounding out the girl’s team, Shyla Shoun set a personal record of 122 for the day.

The Bulldog boys also had a noteworthy start to their season with all five finishing within strokes of each other. The Watt brothers, Owen and Porter, led the charge, each putting up an impressive overall score of 92.

Cash Peterson and Halden Harmon were not far behind finishing with scores of 100 and 102, respectively. Catch Downey rounded out the boys’ team with a final score of 108.
