Hail closes Tower

High winds and golf-ball sized hail during a storm on Monday evening caused severe damage at Devils Tower National Monument, leading to a temporary closure of the site. According to Emergency Management Coordinator Ed Robinson, the damage included blown-over trees, including one that fell on a building, as well as scattered garbage and significant damage to vehicles.
