Crook County mother-daughter duo attend RNC

Zeta Nuckolls Anderson and FaithHoney Anderson were among the thousands of attendees at the Republican National Convention held July 15-18 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This year marked the inaugural opportunity for each county in Wyoming to elect their delegate to the RNC; Zeta was elected as the Crook County delegate.

FaithHoney was selected as the Wyoming Delegation Page for the 2020 RNC but was unable to attend when the traditional convention was canceled. After reaching out to Wyoming GOP leadership in 2023 with interest to attend and serve at the convention, she became Delegation Aide.

Her role was primarily to serve and support the elected delegation chair, Secretary of State Chuck Gray.

"This year was especially exciting, likely one of the most important conventions in our nation's history. The solidarity of the people there created so much energy in the convention center. It was such an honor to be on the convention floor and witness history being made," Zeta stated.

Friends and family from several states texted the mother/daughter duo after spotting them several times during the televised convention. Zeta recounted, "One of my favorite texts came from friends in Washington who said they were surprised to see my lookalike on TV at the RNC. I quickly responded that it was not a look alike – it was me!"

FaithHoney was interviewed by a reporter interested in the opinions of young people and their thoughts on the upcoming election. She felt confident sharing how her Christian values and conservative beliefs point to a better future and responded, "Especially after the past four years, I believe young people are waking up to the realization that change is needed in our country."

The Andersons agreed the monumental 2024 RNC with the diverse lineup of speakers at all the events was incredible and each of their stories very impactful. The opportunity to hear a multitude of elected officials and engage in one-on-one conversations with officials from Wyoming and other states was unprecedented. They recognize this once-in-a-lifetime experience will be one they always remember.
