WYDOT to hold STIP meetings in northeast Wyoming

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has scheduled its annual State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) meetings this summer.

District 4, which encompasses Sheridan, Campbell, Crook, Weston and the northern half of Johnson Counties, has meetings scheduled over the next three months.

The STIP outlines WYDOT’s construction project schedule over the next six years. A dynamic plan, the STIP is updated every year to make sure it addresses both current and future needs.

The STIP shows communities where to find grant information and also highlights WYDOT’s purpose, values, and mission.  To learn more about the STIP, information is available at https://www.dot.state.wy.us/STIP.

District 4’s STIP meeting schedule for Crook County is: Crook County Commission – Tuesday, September 3 at 2:30 pm – Crook County Courthouse, 309 Cleveland Street. Sundance City Council – Tuesday, September 3 at 6:00 pm – Sundance City Hall, 213 E Main Street.

All meetings are open to the public.

Please reach out to [email protected] for information on how to attend or for a calendar invite. Public comments about current or future construction projects, including project suggestions not included in the STIP, are accepted at each meeting or via email before a meeting.
