Continuing the Crook County News Since 1884
Pee-Wee Princess
Amberlyn Dixon is the daughter of Brandon and Courtney Dixon of Sundance. She will be a third grader this fall at Sundance Elementary School.
She enjoys riding her horses, spending time with her bunnies, pig, chickens, and geese, reading, dancing, camping, fishing, playing outside and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys sewing, quilting and crocheting and, of course, attending rodeos!
Amberlyn has participated in a variety of horse shows and playdays in other states during her dad's time in the Army.
Amberlyn is a member of the Girl Scout Troop 1989, St. Paul's Catholic Church, Le Belle Ballet & Studio, and is a 4-H Cloverbud. Her scholastic ambition is to become a veterinarian or teacher someday.
She would like to represent Crook County as the next Rodeo Pee-Wee Princess because it is her home and she loves living here. She would be excited and honored to represent our area, ranchers and farmers, cowboys and cowgirls, and promote the western way of life that's not only talked about, but lived here.
She believes rodeo is the most patriotic sport in our country. Amberlyn is sponsored by Button Veterinary Services in Recluse, Wyoming.
