Shootout next week

What do you say to free food, free golf cart, a chance to bet on your favorite golfer and beverages available? We need a gallery to watch the top 10 golfers in our area on Friday, June 7!

It’s called the Sundance 10 Person Shootout and those who have attended the last four years have loved it! The top golfers our area from Gillette to Rapid City, Newcastle to Devils Tower will all tee off on #1 and only two will remain when the group gets to #9.

You can place bets, get some food and drink, grab a cart and follow the players around the course until there are only two left on the last hole.

The competition gets pretty intense, but it’s all fun. The players play for a cash prize. They are from Gillette, Devils Tower, Newcastle, Sundance and more, all of whom are excellent golfers and each one has a legitimate chance of being the last person standing.

The betting starts at 4:30 p.m. and ends at 5:20 p.m. Players tee off at 5:30.

You simply choose a player or players and place as many $5 bets as you wish. You do not have to bet if you just want to come watch.

Betting is very similar to horse racing, so you can win even if your player comes in third. Come down, grab some free food, get a free cart, grab a beverage, follow the players around and enjoy some exciting and intense competition!
