Great showing for Bulldogs at Spring Golf Championship

Peterson takes first

In an impressive display of skill and determination, the Bulldogs golfers showcased their dominance at the Spring Golf Championship last week. Lady Bulldog Savanah Peterson set the tone for the Spring Championship, beating out her opponents with a 22-stroke lead.

Avery Marchant also chipped in an impressive score for the two-day competition, finishing in eighth, with a 228. Karen Ulmer, Shyla Shoun and Madeline Fleenor rounded out the Lady Bulldogs team finishing 15th,16th and 17th respectively.

Although facing stiff competition, the impressive individual scores of the Bulldogs placed them in second, as a team, only falling to Thermopolis by three strokes.

The Bulldog boys also delivered a commendable performance at the Spring Championships, clenching a fourth place finish as a team. Porter Watt was the top Bulldog, claiming 13th place overall with a score of 202.

Not to be outdone, Spencer Lubken and Owen Watt showcased their skills with scores of 206 and 209 respectively. Braydon Sanders and Kole VanHorn rounded out the team's efforts in the 2A Spring Championships.

With the spring season coming to an end, both Bulldog teams fared well in the conference standings. As a team, the Lady Bulldogs were Powder River Champions and the Bulldog boys took second place in the conference.

Six Bulldog golfers were also named All Conference: Savanah Peterson, Avery Marchant, Karen Ulmer, Shyla Shoun, Porter Watt and Spencer Lubken. Congratulations on a great season!
