Sundance Elementary music programs Monday

In a display of youthful exuberance, Sundance Elementary kindergarteners will take center stage on Mon., May 20 at 2 p.m. in the gym.

Songs may include ABC Blues, Old Navy, Months of the Year, Elephants Have Wrinkles, One Green Jelly Bean, Wee Willie Winkie, Counting Song, Peanut Butter, Mr. Sun, Marching Rhythm, Hasta La Vista and Tingalayo. The program is a celebration of creativity, learning and the joy of music and family, friends and the public are invited.

The stage is set, the instruments tuned, and anticipation is in the air as Sundance Elementary School’s budding musical maestros prepare to captivate audiences with their enchanting melodies on Mon., May 20 at 6 p.m. in the gym.

The fifth-grade band will be performing Old MacDonald Had a Band, Hard Rock Blues, Beginning Band March, Three Note Adventure and Bakery Blues. The sixth-grade band selections may include Phantom Patrol, Alpha Dog, Counting Stars, Boogie Blues with featured soloists, Royal Crown March, Rock Point 5 and Star Wars.

The two bands will combine to perform Battle of the Giants and Let’s Go Band. Family, friends and the public are invited.
