Savanah Peterson found herself in the top spot again this week as the Bulldog golfers competed at the Tiger Invitational. Finishing the course with a score of 89, Peterson outperformed her nearest competitor by a staggering 15 strokes.
Avery Marchant also finished in the top ten, taking eighth place for the day with an impressive score of 120. With the help of teammates Karen Ulmer, Madeline Fleenor, Shyla Shoun, and Gracie Davis, the Lady Bulldog golfers took home another first place team finish, shooting a combined score of 337.
The Bulldog boys also fared well at the Tiger Invitational, finishing third as a team, with a combined score of 388. Braydon Sanders led the charge for the Bulldogs, chipping in a 95, followed closely by Spencer Lubken who shot a 97 and Porter and Owen Watt who both added a 98 to the team score. Kole VanHorn, Corbin Crowder, Joshua Crews, Taigon Barber, and Klase Hento also competed in the Tiger Invitational.
In last week's coverage of the Sundance Invitational we inadvertently omitted the top finisher for the Sundance Bulldogs, Spencer Lubken, who finished in third place, chipping in an impressive score of 88 for the day. We apologize for this oversight and commend Lubken on his outstanding performance.
The golfers will close out their spring season on May 9-10 in Torrington as they compete in the Spring Championship.
