Successful FFA convention

Banker named State Parliamentarian; horse evaluation team headed to Nationals

This past week, members of the Sundance Bearlodge FFA chapter competed at the Wyoming FFA State Convention. They had quite a successful convention!

The agronomy team made up of Madeline Fleenor, Lexie Marchant, Jaylin Mills and Keaton Mills placed sixth overall.

The environmental and natural resources team made up of Holden Ayer, Autumn Groth, Keaton Mills and Savanna Williams placed sixth overall and were first in the team activity.

The horse evaluation team made up of Savanah Peterson, Cienna McGuckin, Tessa Sanderson and Avery Marchant was named champion horse judging team and will represent Wyoming at the National FFA contest in the fall.

Savanah Peterson was also high individual in halter and overall champion of the horse evaluation contest, as well as third in reasons.

Keaton Mills, Lexie Marchant, Autumn Groth, Natalie Curren and Riley Banker received their state degrees. Riley Banker was selected as the state parliamentarian for the 2024-2025 year.
