Caryolyn (Marlowe) Farnum, 92, passed peacefully into God's arms on March 8, 2024, at Wyoming Assisted Living in Sundance, Wyoming.
In 1931, she was born in Belmont, New York, in a five generational home, still occupied by our family. She had a full nursing career as a geriatric nurse.
Carolyn retired from the Crook County Long Term Care, being the senior to many of her residents. She lived in and traveled the entirety of the United States.
Carolyn called Florida, Louisiana, New York and Wyoming home. Carolyn also made a career out of her favorite hobbies. She had a love for antique treasure hunting at garage sales and auctions. Her finds were sold out of her antique store called "Carolyn's Corner" in Sundance.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Marcy (Nathan) Havner; grandchildren, Tess Policky, John (Sarah) Modica, Ian (Carolyn) Policky; great-granddaughter, Lorraine Modica; and a wonderful extended family, the Marlowes of Florida, the Farnums of Louisiana, VanDuzer-Strachans of Florida, Seelys of Wyoming, and her loving Church of Christ family in Sundance.
A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held in Cuba Lake, New York in July.
