Band masters

Piano and vocal students of Janet Cole Lake participated in the South Dakota Bandmasters Music Contest in Spearfish on March 9 with dozens of other students in Grades 3-8. They performed piano and vocal solos before a judge and received ratings of I-Superior and II-Excellent. The vocalists were accompanied on piano by Joyce Harmsen.
