CHAPTER 6, SECTION 2 CONSRUCTION/MODIFICATION PERMIT - Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Air Quality PUBLIC NOTICE: In accordance with Chapter 6, Section 2(m) of the Wyoming Air Quality Standards and Regulations, notice is hereby given that the State of Wyoming, Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Air Quality, proposes to approve a request by Bentonite Performance Minerals, LLC to establish the Maurer Lease 21, a 180 acre bentonite mine, which will include exposed acreage, stockpiling and haul activity located in the SE¼ NW¼ of Section 21, T57N, R65W, approximately seventeen (17) miles north-northwest of Hulett, in Crook County, Wyoming. No crushing/screening, blasting, hot mix asphalt plants or concrete batch plants are planned for this site. The applicant estimates an annual production rate of 100,000 tons per year.
For the duration of the public comment period, the permit application, the agency’s analysis, and the public notice are available for public inspection online at https://openair.wyo.gov, utilizing facility ID F030141 and permit number P0037543 under permits. This material may also be viewed online, at the above URL, utilizing a public computer at the Crook County Library, Sundance, Wyoming. Additionally, for the duration of the public comment period a copy of this public notice is available for public inspection at the Crook County Clerk’s Office, Sundance, Wyoming.
