Wrestlers headed to state

The Sundance Bulldogs Boys qualified four of five wrestlers at Tongue River High School at this past weekend’s regional tournament. Freshman Lyman Halverson led the team with a 2-2 fourth place finish.

Others who qualified were Freshman Tel Marchant 2-2 at 113 lbs., Senior Karter Mayberry 2-2 at 126 lbs. and Wyatt Flahaven 0-2 at 144 lbs.

For the Lady Bulldogs, Shyla Shoun qualified for the state tournament at 135 lbs. by finishing 1-2.

The state meet begins Thursday and runs through Saturday at the Ford Events Center in Casper.
