PROCLAMATION OF ELECTION FOR DIRECTOR OF THE SUNDANCE CANYON RANCH IMPROVEMENT AND SERVICE DISTRICT

DATE OF ELECTION: The election shall take place by mail ballot on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

PURPOSE: To vote for two (2) Directors in the Sundance Canyon Ranch improvement and Service District for four (4) year terms.

FILING PERIOD: February 7, 2024 through February 26, 2024. All individuals wishing their name to appear on the ballot must file an application with the Filing Officer. The individual must be a qualified elector residing in the district or an owner of land in the district.

POLLING PLACE: Crook County Clerk’s Office in Sundance, WY, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., May 7, 2024.

NOT RECEIVED OR SPOILED BALLOTS: No sooner than twenty-five (25) days and no later than 4:00 p.m. on Election Day, mail ballots shall be made available with Bridget Helms, Secretary of the District. A voter may obtain a replacement ballot if the ballot was destroyed, spoiled, lost, or for some other reason not received by the voter. In order to obtain a replacement ballot, the voter must sign a sworn statement specifying the reason for requesting the replacement ballot. The statement shall be presented to the election official no later than 4:00 p.m. on Election Day.
