Chamber seeking events for holiday kick-off

The Sundance Chamber of Commerce is seeking information from businesses and organizations who are interested in joining in with the Christmas kick-off this year on December 1.

The beginning of December brings the annual Festival of Lights to town, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Main Street. Crook County Senior Services will be holding a Christmas bazaar on the same day, from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The Chamber would like to spread the word of other activities occurring on the same day to help businesses share the news with their customers and citizens get the most out of the day.

Some suggestions from the Chamber include running a sale on your goods or services; holding a fundraiser, hosting an open house offering hot cocoa and Christmas candy; or staying open late to allow people to shop or eat once the parade has passed by.
