Throngs of little revelers gathered on Saturday for an early start to the spooky season. From a raccoon in a tree to a banana, Hogwarts students to a plague doctor, the costume choices ranged from cute and funny to frightful. Meanwhile, community members dressed up in their own finery and offered treats to fill every bucket, from a trunk themed to the Harry Potter school houses to farmyards and beekeepers. Once their buckets had been filled, the kids were invited indoors for a Halloween carnival, with games to play, a cake walk and fortune teller to investigate and even more treats to earn.
