City of Sundance

The City of Sundance, Wyoming, is accepting bids for janitorial service. It will be a one year contract that may be renewed yearly, starting November 13, 2023 and ending October 31, 2024. The service will include a once-a-week cleaning of the council chambers, main business office, public works office, crew break room and two restrooms. The work will include dusting, vacuuming carpets, cleaning rugs, mopping bare floors, disposing of garbage, cleaning windows monthly, and scrubbing carpets semi-annually.

This bid also includes cleaning three (3) park restrooms and one (1) concession stand seasonally, May – October. Restrooms and concession stand need to be cleaned three times per week with paper products filled as needed.

City Hall work will be done after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays or anytime on the weekend while the seasonal work can be done anytime. The supplies will be purchased by the city. The successful bidder will be considered an independent contractor and be paid the lump sum bid amount monthly.

All companies or individuals interested in performing this described work should submit a signed bid in a sealed envelope marked “JANITORIAL BID”. The bid should state the amount per month for janitorial service at City Hall and another amount per month, separately, for the seasonal cleaning of the park restrooms and concession stand.

The sealed bids will be accepted at Sundance City Hall until 3:00 p.m., November 7, 2023, thereafter opened and read aloud. No bids will be accepted after advertised time. The Council will vote on bids at their meeting the same night at 7pm. The Council retains the right to reject any or all bids and can select the bid that is most advantageous to the City of Sundance.
