Fierce competition for Lady Bulldogs

The Sundance volleyball team had two conference matchups this past week as they traveled to Tongue River and Wright. Taking both matchups to five sets, the Lady Bulldogs were able to see their strengths and areas of improvement when it comes to ranked, fierce competition.

“Our conference is a tough one but we proved this weekend that we should be in the mix,” head coach Chelsey Blasczyk stated. “The girls really pulled together to take TR to five sets and to beat Wright in five. Both teams are beatable, we just need to believe it and keep fighting.

“Friday, we host Big Horn. They are ranked number one in the state and we want to work toward keeping a positive attitude because I know that if we do, we can challenge them.”

The Lady Bulldogs have only one conference game this week. Sundance will host the number one ranked team, the Big Horn Rams, on Friday. The games will start at 1 p.m. with JV and varsity will follow.
