Allison Leigh Bush-Forsberg passed on October, Friday the 13th – a witchy day for a witchy woman. She left us at the age of 50 due to complications with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones.
Born September 18, 1973 in Casper, Wyoming. Allison was a skilled artist, a supportive mother, a compassionate sister, a loving wife, a dedicated daughter and an adoring friend.
While raising her daughter, Raena, Allison achieved a masters degree in art – following a creative passion she had felt all her life.
In 2009, Allison and her husband, Garrett Forsberg, were married. They spent 14 wonderful years together.
In addition to her daughter and husband, Allison's family includes two siblings: her brother Jeremy, who has also passed, and her sister, Erin (Robert). She lived near her parents, Jerry and Linda Bush in Beulah, Wyoming. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was committed to her family all her life and brought her own distinctive brand of joy to every life she came into contact with. Her soul was a mix of creative passion, vast reservoirs of love, bursts of fiery opinions, bright laughter and magic enough to put the Goblin King to shame.
When she cared about something or someone, she did it fully. She is now creating art within the universe itself and is wearing the stars as a crown in place of the wild cucumber vines she loved to adorn in life.
A remembrance will be held at Ranch A in Beulah, Wyoming hosted by her family on October 21 from noon to 2 p.m. Should you like to bring something for the family, they request stories or photos of Allison. These mementos may be written out, printed or emailed to [email protected].
