Lady Bulldogs take on Rangers, Wolves

The Sundance Lady Bulldogs took a break from conference play this past week, hosting the Hill City Rangers from South Dakota and the 3A Moorcroft Wolves. It was a hard-fought battle against the Rangers, but the Lady Bulldogs struggled to gain momentum throughout sets three and four and the Rangers took a 3-1 win.

The tides turned for the Lady Bulldogs as they took on the Moorcroft Wolves later in the week. The opening set of the matchup set the tone as the Bulldogs took a comfortable lead and didn't look back, ending with a 25-13 win.

The energy continued into the second set, where they maintained their tight grip on the game, finishing 25-10. Looking for a clean sweep, the Bulldog's teamwork helped them close out the third set 25-5, sweeping the Wolves.

"The girls played well against Moorcroft. We were able to get some younger players some experience at the varsity level," head coach Chelsey Blasczyk commented.

The Lady Bulldogs will be back in conference play next week as they travel to Tongue River on Friday and Wright on Saturday.
