Friendly ghosts and ghouls are needed to help treat the kids this Halloween at the annual Trunk or Treat kids’ carnival.
The hour-long event will take place on October 21 in the Sundance High School parking lot from 4:30 p.m., to be accompanied by a kids’ carnival in the gym that will continue until 7 p.m.
To participate, simply decorate the trunk of your vehicle, get dressed up for the season, invest in some delicious candy and call the high school at 283-1007 to be added to the lineup.
Little ones will be able to tour the trick-or-treat lineup in their own costumes, before heading inside to find games for all ages, as well as a cake walk, fortune teller, face painting, games for all ages and more treats including cotton candy and caramel corn.
Food will be available to purchase, including “boo dogs” and road kill on a bun with coffin cookies to follow.
A costume contest will be held as the Trunk or Treat part of the festivities ends.
Trunk or Treat and the carnival will be hosted by the high school volleyball and girls’ basketball teams.
