Lady Bulldogs play Big Horn Invite

The Sundance Lady Bulldogs took to the court in Big Horn this past week, participating in the Big Horn Invitational. The Bulldogs sailed through the pool play, dropping only one game against Rocky Mountain.

Day two of the invitational set the Lady Bulldogs against Riverside, Lingle-Ft. Laramie and Tongue River. Opening play against Riverside, the Lady Bulldogs floundered a little, dropping the set to the Rebels.

However, the Lady Bulldogs did not dwell on the loss; the team was able to pull together to take a 2-0 victory over Lingle-Ft. Laramie and move into the consolation round. Once again, the consolation championship was down to the wire as the Sundance Lady Bulldogs split the first two games with the Tongue River Eagles.

Going into a deciding third game, the Lady Bulldogs rallied and took a 15-11 victory along with the consolation championship at the Big Horn Invitational.

The Sundance Lady Bulldogs will take a break from tournament play this week as they host the Upton Bobcats on Tuesday and travel to face the Wright Panthers on Saturday.
