The county fair is only weeks away and everyone planning to enter their animals can do so beginning this Saturday.
Compete this year to the theme “A Brand of Its Own” from July 22, when the fair itself will open with the youth rodeo and team roping.
Each type of class has a different deadline to fill in the forms online at crookcofair.com or hand them in at the fair office.
All entries for the horse show must be in by July 10, while 4H and FFA should submit entries by July 14. For animal open classes, to include beef, sheep, goat futurity, open rabbit and open poultry are also due by July 14.
Any open class entries that do not involve live animals should be submitted by July 21.
The Crook County Rodeo Royalty Competition will be taking place on Friday, July 14 at 6 p.m. in Hulett. The Royalty Banquet will follow the next day at noon.
