Little appreciation

Kids and their carers from Kid Prints visited City Hall on Tuesday morning to deliver a poster covered in little handprints to thank the council and city staff for their recent support. The council opted last month to pay off the note on the daycare building to avoid an increase in rent and replenish Kid Prints' coffers in the amount of $4000 to assist during a tough financial time that was partly caused by high heating costs during the tough, cold winter. The group visited during a walkabout of the downtown, during which they delivered flyers announcing two events: their first annual Color Run/Walk and Family Fun Day and Cornhole Tournament.
