Standing tall

SHS graduate Parker Speidel was recently named as this year's Standing Tall Award winner. The award is given each year to a Sundance High School senior in honor of Brenda Maynard Walters. Classmates and family of Walters established the award and cash prize in 2014 to present to a student who embodies the positive traits that Brenda was best known for: compassion, loyalty and tenacity.
