Weekend brings 76th Hulett Rodeo

All are invited to come down June 10 and 11 to the Hulett Recreation Grounds for the 76th Annual Hulett Rodeo. Events start at 1:30 p.m. each day and, for those who’d like to come early Saturday, the parade starts at 10 a.m. on Hulett’s Main Street.

Hang around that evening for some live music and some goat roping, again, on Main Street. If there are enough cowboys and cowgirls, slack will be at 10 a.m. Sunday and tickets are good for all day.

There will be regular rodeo events plus lots of things for the kids to do. There will be boot races, mutton bustin’, steer riding, calf and steer scrambles both days and both days will end with the ranch bronc riding.

Bring a lawn chair and slicker and come down for some really good rodeo entertainment. Lunch and beer are available both days so come see some old friends and make some new ones.
