Dogies down the Patriots

It was a rare Thursday night game for the Upton-Sundance Patriots last week as they traveled to Newcastle to meet the Dogies. The first half of play was a back and forth between the teams as both sides found their way down the field and onto the scoreboard.

The second half, unfortunately, found the Patriots struggling while the Dogies continued to put points on the board. In the end, the Newcastle Dogies came out with a 32-14 victory over the Patriots who remain winless on the season.

The Upton-Sundance Patriots hope to put a win in their column on Friday as they wrap up Homecoming week in Sundance, hosting the Wheatland Bulldogs. The Patriots will also take this time to honor their seniors.

There will be a community Homecoming tailgate beginning at 5pm. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Croell Field.
