I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen.
And I have the keys of Hades and of Death – Rev. 1:18
Keys are important. They are essential to both opening and closing. Be it a door, concept or heart. The following are key verses in several books of the Bible. May they assist you in grasping that which God has always been faithful in providing.
EXODUS 3:10: Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.
JUDGES 17:6: In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.
PROVERBS 1:7: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
ECCLESIASTES 12:13: Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all.
ESTHER 4:14: Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
PSALMS 150:6: Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!
MATHEW 5:17: Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets.
I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
MARK 10:45: For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
JOHN 20:31: But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.
2 PETER 1:3: As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.
Keys offer solutions, explanations and meanings. Having many may be beneficial and yet cumbersome. The best is possessing a master. May that be Jesus Christ, the only One necessary.
REVELATION 1:3: Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
