Continuing the Crook County News Since 1884
The Crook County Farm Bureau Federation annual meeting had 36 people in attendance on Sept. 22 at the 77 Steakhouse in Hulett. Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation Staff addressed upcoming statewide meetings and events, federal issues affecting agriculture and upcoming legislative issues.
This year in the Ag Books for Kids contest, Crook County had four district winners and one state runner-up. CCFB Federation also gave three scholarships as well as supported a variety of events.
Certificates for 2022 Century Club Members went to: Andrea and Royce Robinson, Diana and Jeff Burian, Raenell and Josh Taylor, Janette and Nels Smith, Sherry and Keith Haiar, Pam and Hugh Thompson, Joni and Chip Neiman, Annette and Jeff Suloff, Arthur Hauber, SallyAnn and James Neiman, Rachael and Zach Fross, Sharon and Richard Kirksey, Dela and Frank Hawken and Minnie Williams.
Life Member certificates were given to Perry Livingston, Will and Laura Nuckolls, Thea Nuckolls Lemmel and Larry and Terry Fowlkes.
The 2023 officers were elected: Vance Steedley, President; JW Moore, Vice President; Zeta Nuckolls Anderson, Secretary; Keith Haiar, Treasurer; Raenell Taylor, YF&R Chair.
Crook County Farm Bureau Federation meets monthly on the second Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Sundance Farm Bureau office. Members are welcome to attend.
