Graveside services for Gayle Dickey, 94-year-old Buffalo, Wyoming resident who passed away at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital August 15, 2022, will be held Friday, September 30 at 1 p.m. at the Green Mountain Cemetery in Sundance, Wyoming with Pastor David Jagemann officiating.

Gayle Barbara Dickey was born on June 5, 1928, to Raymond Wilcox Robinson and Edna Belle (Rathbun) Robinson in Hulett, Wyoming.
She attended school in Sundance and graduated from the Sundance High School. Gayle married Millard Dickey in 1945 in Broadus, Montana and made their home in Sundance, Wyoming and later lived in various towns in northeastern Wyoming.
Gayle was a homemaker and school cook. They settled in Buffalo in 1976 where Millard passed away in March of 2006. Gayle continued living in Buffalo until her death.
Gayle enjoyed bowling, fishing and gardening, but her passion was spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by one daughter, Karen Hinkel and her husband Lee of Sheridan, Wyoming; one son, Randall Dickey and his wife Ruby of Casper, Wyoming; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Neda Zimmerschied; her husband, Millard Dickey; two sons, Doran and James Dickey who died of polio at very young ages; and one grandson, David Hinkel.
