Lady Bulldogs challenged by larger schools

The Sundance volleyball team went up against bigger schools, which meant tougher competition, this weekend as they participated in the Gillette Invite on Friday and Saturday.

Opening play against the number two ranked 4A team, Thunder Basin, the Lady Bulldogs held their own with a score of 20-25 in game one but lost a little momentum going into game two as they fell 10-25 in their first matchup of the weekend.

The rest of the weekend fared much like the opening game, with the Bulldogs being able to get points on the board but coming up short in the end as they fell to Rapid City Christian and Wheatland.

The Lady Bulldogs will travel to Big Horn on Friday and Saturday this week to participate in the Big Horn Invite.
