It started at the Youth Rodeo, with Josey Franzen winning the all-around cowgirl and Jax Franzen winning the all-around cowboy and the high point saddle.
Next was the horse show, where Jax won champion in the timed events and Josey was reserve champion in the timed events. Jax also won his halter class.
Lane Helms showed in the Cloverbud showmanship event, taking first place. Chelsea Helms was the overall junior performance horse champion with wins in programmed ride, hunter under saddle, equitation, horsemanship, reining and western riding.
At the swine show, Josey was the grand champion junior swine showman and was third in her swine market class. Jax was third place in junior swine showmanship and received a second place in his market class.
At the beef show, Lyman Ellsbury was third in his market beef class and his steer was the overall rate of gain champion. Ridley Ellsbury was second in his class for market beef, sixth place in the Angus show and sixth in junior beef showmanship.
Josey showed her breeding heifer for a second place ribbon.
In the static exhibits, Lyman earned a first place for his leathercraft project and Mattie Ellsbury had three Cloverbud entries in cooking, gardening and visual arts.
Josey and Jax both received purple ribbons for their visual arts projects. Ridley received a purple ribbon for his branding iron welding project.
These projects will be going to State Fair, along with Josey and her angus heifer and pig, and Jax with his pig.
