Joshua McLaughlin was recently diagnosed with an aggressive, Stage 4, Medulloblastoma, brain cancer. A successful surgery removed a large percentage of the golf ball-sized tumor deep in the cerebellum.
The benefit Sundance had for Joshua and his family was a huge success. The way this town pulls together to support and lift each other up is impressive.
We live in such a great part of the world, and we are so thankful to be a part of this community.
The auction started out with a couple guns to help out. Within a few days those two guns turned into eight firearms, and many more businesses and locals generously donated so much. Not just Sundance, but the whole county helped out.
A "Thank You" will never be enough, but it's a good start. The band, bank, auction, food, the planning, the car wash, all the volunteers to make it happen, and we cannot forget to thank our amazing employees. It was a tough couple weeks for them, and everything seemed to happen overnight.
They all pulled together and ran the Longhorn without Charity or I being there. We are truly blessed with our friends, this community and our employees.
Thanks again,
Joshua and Charity McLaughlin and family
