Sundance FCCLA members attend National Leadership Meeting

Six Sundance FCCLA members competed with STAR Event projects at the National Leadership Meeting in San Diego. Sundance members did exceedingly well.

For the first time, this year the national organizatio, implemented the TOP 10 Awards. Bailey Hofland and Levi Rudloff Jordan placed in the TOP 10 of the nation with their Chapter in Review Portfolio. They received a gold medal.

Kimberly Fowler also received a gold medal with her Chapter Service Portfolio. Holden Ayer and Avery Marchant received a silver medal in Chapter Service Display. Gracie Davis received a bronze medal with her community service project.

Besides competing, members attended educational workshops and general sessions, which included keynote speakers, awards and FCCLA business. The group toured San Diego; going to SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo and spent an afternoon at Coronado Island on a beautiful Pacific Ocean beach.
