The Town Council met this day in regular session at 7:00 p.m. with Mayor Paul Brooks presiding.
Roll call was taken by Mayor Brooks with Council Members Joe Wilson, Callie Hilty, Bradley Marchant and Randy Stevenson present.
Mayor Brooks suggested to the council to appoint Tracy Wilson as manager to the Green Mountain Estates. COUNCIL MEMBER MARCHANT MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER HILTY SECONDED a motion to appoint Tracy Wilson as manager of Green Mountain Estates. COUNCIL MEMBER WILSON recused himself. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED.

City Engineer Karla Greaser updated the council on the Sundance Kid Tank project. Ms. Greaser reported the tank construction is underway.
COUNCIL MEMBER MARCHANT MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER STEVENSON SECONDED a motion to approve change order No. 6 with Trihydro for the amount of $3,853.00 on the Sundance Kid Tank Project. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED.
COUNCIL MEMBER HILTY MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER MARCHANT SECONDED a motion to approve ORDINANCE 2, 2022-AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONEY FOR THE 12 MONTH PERIOD BEGINNING JULY 1, 2022 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2023- THIRD AND FINAL READING. All ayes. MOTION CARRIED.
COUNCIL MEMBER MARCHANT MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER STEVENSON SECONDED a motion to approve ORDINANCE 3, 2022- AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE DRILLING OF AND MAINTENANCE OF WATER WELLS WITHIN THE SUNDANCE CITY LIMITS, SEVERABILITY AND PROVIDING FOR AND EFFECTIVE DATE- THIRD AND FINAL READING. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED.
Mayor Brooks has spoken with Roth Trucking and Croell Inc regarding DEQ requirements for campgrounds.
Clerk Treasurer Kathy Lenz reported that the Pickelball Court improvement grant has been submitted for review.
COUNCIL MEMBER WILSON MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER MARCHANT SECONDED a motion to approve RESOLUTION 5, 2022 REGARDING BUDGET AMENDMENT. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED.
COUNCIL MEMBER STEVENSON MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER WILSON SECONDED a motion to approve RESOLUTION 6, 2022 FIREWORKS. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED.
COUNCIL MEMBER HILTY MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER STEVENSON SECONDED a motion to approve RESOLUTION 7, 2022 TAP- A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL FUNDING THROUGH THE TRANSPORTATION ALTERNATIVES PROGRAM ADMINISTERED BY THE WYOMING DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. COUNCIL MEMBER HILTY MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER MARCHANT SECONDED a motion to allow the Mayor to sign a letter of engagement with Leo Riley & Co. for the annual audit. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED.
COUNCIL MEMBER WILSON MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER STEVENSON SECONDED a motion to approve 4 Catering Permit’s with street closures for The Dime Horseshoe Bar. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED.
COUNCIL MEMBER MARCHANT MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER HILTY SECONDED a motion to allow the Mayor to sign the service agreement with CW Waste for recycling contract. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED.
COUNCIL MEMBER STEVENSON MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER WISON SECONDED a motion to accept the May 23, 2022, land use minutes as presented with the exception of items A and H. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED.

COUNCIL MEMBER HILTY MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER MARCHANT SECONDED a motion to approve Land Use item A as recommended by the Land Use Committee. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED.
COUNCIL MEMBER STEVENSON MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER WILSON SECONDED a motion to approve Land Use item H contingent upon a written agreement between the owners and the City. This agreement shall clarify the project and present a timeline. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED.

COUNCIL MEMBER WILSON MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER STEVENSON SECONDED a motion to table improvements to the Pickleball court until next month. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED.
COUNCIL MEMBER WILSON MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER STEVENSON SECONDED a motion to allow the City to provide for a porta potty for the pickelball/basketball court for this season. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED.
Department Head Reports:
Crook County Sheriff reported 92 calls for the month.
City Engineer Karla Greaser reported that Trihydro has submitted a permit to construct application to the DEQ for the chlorinator at the North Booster Pump.
City Clerk Treasurer Kathy Lenz asked the council members for feedback regarding use of the concession stand at Sundance Square Park. MS Lenz has received inquiry from the public.
COUNCIL MEMBER STEVENSON MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER HILTY SECONDED a motion to set a rental fee for the concession building at Sundance Square. The fee will be $25.00 rent plus a cleaning deposit fee of $100.00. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED.
Council Member Marchant brought to the council inquiry regarding the possibility of a dog run being established near the City’s ball fields. No action was taken.
Council Member Wilson reported he has had discussion with the State Game and Fish regarding animal disposal. Mr. Wilson would like permission to continue looking into how the program works. Discussion was held and permission was granted.
Council Member Hilty has had inquiry regarding parked motor homes along the creek behind the Deer Lodge Motel. Discussion was held. The City will contact the owners asking them to come to the next meeting for clarification.
