Lady Bulldogs win Spring Championship

The Sundance golf team traveled to Wright this past weekend to participate in the Spring Championships. The Lady Bulldogs walked away as the 2022 Spring Champions.

"The girls won the team championship by a dominating 35 strokes!" coach Lisa Dutton commented. "They also set a new school single-day record, shooting a 280 on the final day, and a new two-day team record of 585."

Sheridan Schubarth was the individual champion with a 179 overall. Teammates Allison Crawford and Savanah Peterson finished in third and fourth respectively.

Ella Bifulco was close behind finishing 11th and Avery Marchant finished the tournament in a tie with a score of 317.

The Bulldogs boys' team finished the Spring Championships in fifth place as a team with Parker Spidel leading the charge, shooting a 212, followed closely by teammate Spencer Lubken who put up a 218 in the two-day championship. Braydon Sanders and Silas Spidel also competed with putting up a 227 and 244 throughout the championship.
