Josiah Rudloff is currently a student at University of Jamestown in Jamestown, ND. He represented the Jamestown Jimmies on Mar. 26 competing at Black Hills State University in high jump and triple jump, two events that he used to compete in while a student athlete at Sundance High School.
Josiah was originally picked up for football as a scholarship athlete for the Jamestown Jimmies, competing in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). He was able to play during the 2020 season, making game-changing plays, and again in 2021 doing what he's well known for, sacking the quarterback.
While there, Josiah's hard work and talent earned him a position on the indoor and outdoor track teams, qualifying for conference in both his freshman year. He was injured in the 2021 fall football season so just missed this year's indoor conference but is shooting for outdoor track conference as he continues to recover.
Josiah continues to be a student athlete as he pursues his degree in exercise science. Josiah's vocal talent also granted him entry into the college's concert choir, which performs in Jamestown and on tour.
While he is busy with classes, performing, touring and competing, he has still made time to pursue his certification in personal training, strength and conditioning, nutritional coaching and performance enhancement. He is excited to return to Sundance to use all he's learned to serve the Sundance community this summer.
