The Sundance Wrestling team competed this past weekend at the Newcastle Dogie Invitational. No wrestlers were seeded but four came home with medals.
Leading the team was Andrew Davis at 132 lbs. as he finished in second place on the day with a 3-1 record. Also placing for the Bulldogs were Leo Lyons 3-1 third at 195 lbs., Dawson Flahaven 3-2 fifth at Heavyweight and Karter Mayberry 2-3 sixth at 120 lbs.
Other records on the day were Zac Duvall 1-2 at 113 lbs., Gavin Mollenbrink 0-2 at 220 lbs. and Liam Holt 0-2 at 160 lbs. As a team, the Bulldogs finished seventh out of 11 teams.
The Bulldogs are in action at home Tuesday the 18th hosting a quad with Campbell County, Belle Fourche and Hulett. The action will continue on Saturday, January 22 at Lingle for the 16 team Dogger Invitational.
